Biographical Information:
Glenn L. Bright is a life-long resident of Sunflower County. Upon graduation from Mississippi State University in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, he acquired a Mississippi Real Estate Salesperson license in 1977 but his priorities were operating his family's farm. In 1995, after acquiring an appraiser license his focus was running Bright Appraisals, Inc which specializes in residential appraisals in the delta area. Glenn holds a Certified Residential Appraisers License.
Glenn was appointed by Governor Haley Barbour in 2010 to represent the Second Congressional District for a four year term. Among his credits are memberships in the Bolivar County Board of Realtors and the Greenwood Board of Realtors. He was also a founding member of Mid-delta DSN, a MLS system in Bolivar & Sunflower counties.

Biographical Information:
Leslie R. North, a Gulfport, MS, native, holds a bachelor of science in business administration, with an emphasis in real estate and insurance, from the University of Southern Mississippi. Ms.North holds the MAI professional designation from the Appraisal Institute and is a Licensed Certified General Real Estate Appraiser. She is active in the Mississippi Chapter of the Appraisal Institute and is currently serving as the 2009 President.
Additionally, she is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.In 2006 Governor Haily Barbour appointed Ms. North to a four-year term serving as member-at-large on the Real Estate Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board. Ms. North has close to 25 years' experience as a real estate appraiser and is a Senior Vice-President and Appraisal Manager for Hancock Bank.
Licensed as a broker by the Mississippi Real Estate Commission, she is also a member of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Board of Realtors. Ms. North is a past member, treasurer, and secretary of the Women's Council of Realtors (WCR) and received the WCR Presidential Award for Outstanding Service.

Biographical Information:
Amelia Lovorn originates from Southaven, Mississippi. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Memphis with an emphasis in real estate/finance and is currently enrolled in their Executive MBA program.
Ms. Lovorn obtained both her broker and appraiser’s licenses in the nineties. She is the principal broker and an active certified appraiser for City Realty, Inc., located in Olive Branch, Mississippi. She is also licensed in Tennessee.
Heavily involved in all aspects of real estate, she was the 2011 President of the Northwest Association of Realtors, 2012 President of the Realtor Services Corporation of the Northwest Association of Realtors, and the longest continuously serving member of that board. She served on the Legislative Affairs Committee for the Mississippi Association of Realtors as well as the National Association of Realtors Appraisal Committee. She also serves as a board member for the Bouchillon Institute of Community Planning.
Ms. Lovorn has instructed appraisal continuing education and pre-licensing courses over the past 10+ years, passing the exam to become an Appraisal Qualification Board Certified USPAP instructor in 2004.
In 2012, Governor Phil Bryant appointed Ms. Lovorn to a four year term on the Mississippi Real Estate Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board.

Biographical Information:
John Holliday, Jr. is a lifelong Mississippi resident. Originally from Vicksburg, he resides in Gulfport and has been in the real estate and appraisal business on the Gulf Coast for 35 years. He is the principal of Holliday & Associates Appraisers and broker of ERA-Gulf Realty (ERA Leader’s Circle 2008). He is a member of the Gulf Coast Assn. of Realtors and served twice as President of the Biloxi-Ocean Springs Board of Realtors, also serving on the MS Gulf Coast MLS Committee. John currently serves on the board of directors of the Appraisal Institute, Mississippi Chapter.
Mr. Holliday earned his A.A. from Hinds Community College and B.A. from Mississippi State University. He earned the SRA appraisal designation from The Society of Real Estate Appraisers, now the Appraisal Institute.
Mr. Holliday has served his community as a director for the Gulf Coast Boys & Girls Clubs, Gulf Coast Habitat for Humanity, a local community housing board, acting subdivision architectural review chairman, and served on the original D’ Iberville Zoning/Planning Commission.
He and his wife Lana, have 3 daughters, Jennifer (Lonergan), Whitney and Alyson and a grandson, Connor. They are longtime members of First United Methodist Church Gulfport where he served on the Board of Trustees.
Although John was displaced when his offices were destroyed by Hurricane Katrina, he rebuilt and remains committed to the community on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
In 2012 Governor Phil Bryant appointed Mr. Holliday to a four-year term on the Mississippi Real Estate Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board, where he will be representing the 4th Congressional District.

Biographical Information:
Gerald R. Barber is a native Mississippian and 35-year resident of Madison County. Mr. Barber received a bachelors of Landscape Architecture from Mississippi State University in 1972. He was elected in 1988 as the first full-time Tax Assessor of Madison County and has served for five terms and is currently serving his sixth. He is a registered landscape architect, real estate broker, and certified general appraiser. Barber and his senior staff hold the highest professional designations in the state for assessment evaluation, appraisal and mapping, and maintain two offices - Canton and Ridgeland - to serve the county.
From 1972 to 1988, Mr. Barber was president of Oak Lane, Inc., a land planning, landscape architecture and design/build firm. He is currently president of Barber & Mann, Inc., a small family business specializing in conservation easements, environmentally sensitive programs, and conservation planning in the Southeast U.S.
