Biographical Information:
Anita R. Griffith is President of Griffith Real Estate, Inc. in Cleveland, Mississippi. She was appointed to the Mississippi Real Estate Licensing and Certification Board by appointment from Governor Ronnie Musgrove. She is a Licensed Certified General Real Estate Appraiser and a Realtor whose practice includes residential, commercial and agricultural sales and appraisals. She has been involved in the real estate profession for 23 years and an appraiser for 18 years. In 1999, she was Realtor of the Year for the Cleveland Board of Realtors and is a member and previous board member of the Mississippi Association of Realtors. She is active in the Mississippi Chapter of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers.
Anita and her husband, Nicky, have two sons - David and Will Reed Griffith.

Biographical Information:
Leslie R. North, a Gulfport, MS, native, holds a bachelor of science in business administration, with an emphasis in real estate and insurance, from the University of Southern Mississippi. Ms.North holds the MAI professional designation from the Appraisal Institute and is a Licensed Certified General Real Estate Appraiser. She is active in the Mississippi Chapter of the Appraisal Institute and is currently serving as the 2009 President. Additionally, she is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.
In 2006 Governor Haily Barbour appointed Ms. North to a four-year term serving as member-at-large on the Real Estate Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board. Ms. North has close to 25 years' experience as a real estate appraiser and is a Senior Vice-President and Appraisal Manager for Hancock Bank.
Licensed as a broker by the Mississippi Real Estate Commission, she is also a member of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Board of Realtors. Ms. North is a past member, treasurer, and secretary of the Women's Council of Realtors (WCR) and received the WCR Presidential Award for Outstanding Service.

Biographical Information:
Jeff Short is a life long resident of the state of Mississippi except for five years active military duty. During those five years, Mr. Short attained the rank of Captain and served with the 82nd Airborne Division, the Fifth Cavalry Division in Vietnam, and the U.S. Army Special Forces. Mr. Short was awarded the Purple Heart, the Bronze Star with Valor, and two Oak Leaf Clusters, the Combat Infantryman Badge, and the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry. Captain Short led the patrol that captured the largest weapons cache of the Vietnam war including artillery pieces.
Mr. Short received his business degree from the University of Mississippi and his masters degree in real estate from Lindenwood University. He has also completed over 40 courses in real estate appraisal.
Mr. Short taught Real Estate Appraisal, Principles of Real Estate, and Advanced Appraisal courses for over 27 years. He has also served as a guest lecturer at Lindenwood University and St. Louis University in the field of eminent domain.
Mr. Short is the first Licensed Certified General Appraiser in the state of Mississippi and as more than 39 years' experience as a full time real estate appraiser. Mr. Short is the former chairman of the Mississippi Real Estate Licensing and Certification Board and has served for six years as a board member.

Biographical Information:

Mr. Ladner is the Principle of Ladner Appraisal Group, Inc. in Gulfport, MS. He exclusively engages in real estate consultation and valuation with 20 years' experience. Mr. Ladner received his bachelor of science degree in Business Administration, Real Estate and Insurance from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1987. He has also completed an additional 25 real estate appraisal courses related to appraisal.
Mr. Ladner was appointed by Governor Haley barbour in 2009 to serve on the Mississippi Real Estate Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board for the 4th District.
In addition to his experience and education, Mr. Ladner is also a member of the MAI, SRA, International Right of Way Association (IRWA), and the Mississippi Gulf Coast Association of Realtors.

Biographical Information:

Gerald R. Barber is a native Mississippian and 35-year resident of Madison County. Mr. Barber received a bachelors of Landscape Architecture from Mississippi State University in 1972. He was elected in 1988 as the first full-time Tax Assessor of Madison County and has served for five terms and is currently serving his sixth. He is a registered landscape architect, real estate broker, and certified general appraiser. Barber and his senior staff hold the highest professional designations in the state for assessment evaluation, appraisal and mapping, and maintain two offices - Canton and Ridgeland - to serve the county.
From 1972 to 1988, Mr. Barber was president of Oak Lane, Inc., a land planning, landscape architecture and design/build firm. He is currently president of Barber & Mann, Inc., a small family business specializing in conservation easements, environmentally sensitive programs, and conservation planning in the Southeast U.S.
