NOTICE OF PROPOSED ADMINISTRATIVE RULES – 04-26-2024
UNIVERSAL RECOGNITION OF OCCUPATIONAL LICENSES ACT– Providing that Mississippi Occupational Licensing Boards shall issue a license to an applicant who establishes residence in this state if the applicant holds a current license in good standing from another state, has been licensed by the other state for at least one (1) year, and satisfies other conditions.
FEDERAL LICENSE PORTABILITY FOR SERVICE MEMBER AND SPOUSE (50 U.S.C. 4025a) – (download required Affidavit) Pursuant to federal law, Mississippi shall recognize occupational licenses obtained from other states for military service people and their spouses, provided certain conditions are met.
MISSISSIPPI MILITARY FAMILY FREEDOM ACT – (download required Affidavit) Suggested if you are a dependent of a military service person. Otherwise, if a service person or spouse, use the above Federal provision. Pursuant to the provisions of Mississippi’s Military Family Freedom Act, Mississippi shall recognize occupational licenses obtained from other states for military members and their families, provided certain conditions are met.
